Saint Louis Gooey Butter Cake

It’s really hard to describe the flavor, but you can definitely taste that good gooey butter cake in it, doesn’t taste like the cheap kind you’d get anywhere but a bakery. The slightly bitter and savory taste goes great with a good breakfast.

I'm from the Saint Louis area, so I've had a lot of gooey butter cake. i was NOT expecting this to taste as good as it does. The mix of the cake flavor it perfectly balanced with the bitterness from the coffee. definitely getting more of this next time I order.

I love this flavor. It's very buttery in taste, with a kind of toasted after taste. I will definitely buy this again.

Might actually be addicted to this. For legal purposes, that is a joke. :) Seriously though, this is so, so delicious, and a fantastic introduction to the brand. I should note - I first tried it as they suggest, with ice cold water. Not for me personally, too watered down and reminds me in a general way of hot chocolate made with water. Based off that, while I was going to finish the container, I had absolutely no intent to purchase more, and I was very unlikely to try anything else from Madrinas. However, I decided to give it a second first chance, this time with my oat milk. And my gods, I am so glad I did that! Trying it with milk is 100% what not only sold it for me, but also saw to it that I just ordered another can (alongside other flavors I want to try)! I'm not quite halfway through the first yet, but I want to make sure I don't run out. ;)

I’m not huge on coffee, but I’m huge on desserts!! This flavor is a sweet refreshment on a warm summers day, I love to drink it while doing early morning yard work!!
