As a non-avid Coffee drinker and recluse I wanted to try to get some caffeine powered drink powders that I could sprinkle into my week. I dont often have the time or space to drag out the hot water kettle or coffee maker to pod something out. Just easier to grab a shaker bottle and throw something in.
On that front these fit the bill perfectly. They have a strong level of caffeine which I can appreciate. And the current Dune promotional codes were a nice win as well and all worked. Just be sure to put them in in ALL CAPS and they worked without issue. Console. But you have to use the Dune account management site to enter them. FYI.
As to the flavors - I think I must have a missing taste bud on some of these. The blue water of life one especially - it is not sweet, has no citrus flavor to me at all or whatever BLUE should be tasting like.
I also find these products give me a FILM over my tongue. That Water of Life flavor is NOT a protein one so why do I get such a protein powder result? I taste like a stevia sugar if anything. I thought I overmixed for how - blah it was. And not the case. And they say to 16oz. Im using their shaker bottle that says 16oz. Its just super flat.
I use drink packets every day and I use THREE 8oz drink packets on a 64oz jug, and i find that flavor good strong. So im really baffled to this powder being 16oz serving size scoop, going in 16oz shaker, and being muddled blue water with a hint of blue stevia?
Will continue to work my way through the order. Caffeine im feeling, but flavors - miss. Back to my normal powders.
