Tried this as part of my second order from Madrinas.
Who would have thought a bacon flavoured coffee would work? I mean most of us drink coffee while having breakfast but a coffee with bacon notes being desirable?
It works. You first get a smokey, earthy note coming through which is immediately followed by a sweet caramel and toffee (slightly toasted) middle. At first this seems somewhat prominent and feels like this is where it ends. However after the sweetness subsides, you're left with the underlaying smokey taste this time paired with hints of bacon. All the while these flavours are somewhat subtle: they're not overpowering and really feel like they're ingrained in the coffee bean rather than simply a flavour syrup added to the coffee post brew.
If you're a fan of both maple syrup and bacon, and enjoy a coffee as part of your morning routine, I'd highly recommend giving this a go. It's surprisingly good.
